September 28: Tree Pruning Within Town Settings: 9am-11:30pm Houlton Town Office, 2nd fl and Monument Park. This workshop is for Public Works staff, Public Utilities, Arborists and Foresters and will be led by Maine Forest Service's pathologist Aaron Bergdahl, Project Canopy director Jan Santerre, and district forester Lauren Ouellette. September 28: Tree Pruning for Homeowners: 12:30-2pm, corner of Park and High Streets, Houlton. This workshop is to show homeowners proper pruning techniques for yard and garden trees, as well as demonstrate various hand pruning tools. Click here for class information.
