No-till Seeder Rental
The Southern Aroostook SWCD owns a 2020 Esch no-till seeder available for rent in Southern Aroostook. The Esch seeder will plant 10' and has 5 1/2" seed spacing. We are excited to make this available for rent to Southern Aroostook landowners interested in no-tilling small grains or grasses. Check out the YouTube video of the seeder:
Rates are as follows: $15 per acre
A certificate of insurance must be provided to the District before rental commences, along with a Signed Rental Contract.

Bale Processors Rental
The Southern Aroostook SWCD has recently upgraded one of their bale processors to a Vermeer BPX9010 as well as retaining the Jiffy 900 Bale Processor. Both machines are available for rent to landowners for mulching practices to control soil erosion and reduce runoff.
Rental rates are $150 per day and notice of general liability insurance must be provided to the District before rental along with a signed rental contract. Certificate of insurance forms may be emailed to the SASWCD at
